Canada to Mexico in Less Than a Day

Wow. Can't believe my friends and I just drove from the Canadian to Mexican borders in just under 24 hours. It's been such a fun drive so far. Sure, been a little restless in the van seats. But the company completely offset the acheness.

We're just waiting for taxis to take us from our hotel to the border. We'll crossover, take pics, then just turn around and come back in to the good ol USofA. No Tijiuana. Decapatation? No thank you.

Spinja

Did @spinja ever have any other deejay name ideas? Was "Civil Spinjineer" ever an option? Did he ever mentor someone? A Spintern?

A few weeks back, I had dinner with a bunch of friends and, for some reason, I got to thinking about our mutual friend... Deejay Spinja. That's such a cool deejay name. I mean, c'mon... what good ol' American boy didn't grow up hoping that, one day, he'd end up being a ninja? Obviously, his name is a clever way of combining his deejay skill of spinning with the coolest/lethalest profession of all time: Ninjitsu.

But what if Spinja had some other influential career paths that he had wanted to incorporate into his deejay name? Imagine... what if? He could have been any of the following:

1. Civil Spinjineer
2. Spintellectual (wears a monocle, smokes a pipe, etc)
3. Spinsurance Salesman
4. Spintrumentalist
5. Spinterrogator
6. Spinvoicing Specialist
7. Spinsulation Installer
8. Spinfielder (maybe for the Mariners?)
9. Spincumbant (if he was a politician?)
10. Spinsultor (like a mean comedian)

There's only so many of these I could come up with. Your turn!

When Facebook Isn't Enough

I have random thoughts. And usually no filter. But, luckily, I'm no worse than PG-13. That's why I write & say what I think with no hesitation. I'm one of the openest books you'll find. That's not to mean that I don't have my share of inner most thoughts. What it does mean is that the side of me that you don't know is 0.005% of what I am. But, trust me, if you know that small percentage, you know me good. OOoooo so good.

This blog will be an extension of my Facebook. It'll be full of a little more than what I write on THE social networking site of social networking sites. Nobody wants to read anything long on Facebook. In fact, nobody likes reading anything of great length anymore. We all have short attention spans. How many of y'all read this far? I'm willing to bet not too many.

Hopefully this blog will have some meaty morsels to feed you with. If cobwebs ever collect, I apologize. G'night.
